Introduction

Web Content Management (WCM) is the management of both structured and unstructured content that is delivered over the Internet, typically via a web site.

Web Content Management includes content creation, site management, workflow, access control, and delivery.  WCM allows users to create and manage web pages without needing to have the knowledge of website design or programming.  WCM systems allow users with varying levels of computer knowledge to consistently produce content to the same high standard.
