The location of the links on the website is determined by individual specifications and the design ideals of the website, using the template for details on its placement.

Creating Links

  • From the iCM explorer, expand the Content then Libraries folder and either double click or right click the Links option, choose "Select Links".  This will display the Links Explorer.
  • Expand the tree to show the available link groups and links.  The work area will display tasks related to links (if any) and a list of the most recently modified links) and a keyword search facility at the top right of the work area.
  • Select an appropriate group, and use the right click option to select "Create a link".
  • Type the website address e.g. www.gossinteractive.com within the link address.  Type in the link text (the text used for the link e.g. GOSS) and add a link description (the text used on mouse over e.g. view the GOSS website), also ensure that test this link is checked.
  • Click the "Save this Link" option on the Actions Panel.

Relating Links

  • Click the select button on the right hand side of the work area.
  • Expand the tree to select appropriate related links
  • The links can be selected by either double clicking or right clicking over link and selecting link.
